What better way to brighten up the winter months than to supplement your wardrobe with some glamorously gorgeous gemstone hues. Emeralds, amethysts and all manner of equally dazzling shades are sashaying their way into stores now.
Embracing... shoes with brooches
They're everywhere! And they're gorgeous! And we want more now! They're kooky, and they're cute, and they make you feel like a sparkly princess, and did I mention how cute they were?
Liking... hats
There are two really good things about hats: a) they keep your bonce warm and b) they come in a multitude of styles, shapes and colours, so you can't fail to find one that will suit you.
So long... short sleeves
Is there anything more infuriating than seeing all these lovely new short-sleeved tops hit the shelves, and not being able to wear them because it's too bloody cold? I think not.
Goodbye... shoulder pads
Point me in the direction of the clown who decided to resurrect these evil '80s relics. I was shocked and appalled this week after I found myself trying on winter coats that had Collins-esque padding within them. Oh, the humanity!
Clear off... black
So, black is back is it? Yaaawn! Pray tell me, when was it ever away? It might well make you look a pound or two lighter, darling, but gaaawd it's just sooo BORING!
