Taking a cue from The OC, Laguna Beach shows us what young adult life is really like in Orange County. This group of beautiful, rich young people take us on a first-hand journey through their lives in a way that is engaging, but had me feeling guilty that I was actually enjoying this cheesy material. Paramount Home Video presents Laguna Beach: The Complete First Season in grand fashion, using two discs to house the 11 episodes of the show and a third disc dedicated to a bevy of extras.

Pop singer on Tuesday topped an annual Hollywood worst-dressed list compiled by a fashion designer who called her an “over-the-hill Lolita.”
He calls Spears a product of “couture chaos” and sniffs that she has gone “From the ‘Princess of Pop’ to the ultimate ‘Fashion Flop.’”
Among others feeling the lash of Mr. Blackwell’s scorn: Jessica Simpson (”a cut-rate Rapunzel slingin’ hash in a Vegas diner”); Eva Longoria (”Gorgeous face, garish taste”); Paris Hilton (”yesterday’s cheesecake … with a side of kitsch”) and Lindsay Lohan (”looks like she’s aged 30 years overnight”).

The Canadian pop-rocker says she has finally discovered fashion and wants to star in “really beautiful” ads.
The stunning singer has signed to Ford Models agency and says she’s ditching her grunge image.
She said: “I’m starting to feel more feminine. I’m getting into hair and make-up and image. That’s the best part of being a girl.”
And Avril thinks she’d be a great model.
“I look through magazines and stare at ads and think, ‘I’m not six feet tall, but I know I can do that’,” she said. “I want to do those really beautiful ads with the high-end products.” (news.com.au)
